Sometimes photography gives me moments that make me stop and wonder where the years went.

I met Izzy's mom when we were teenagers ourselves, she was my boss which truly made this unique. Standing behind my camera photographing her daughter as a graduating senior felt a little surreal. It seems impossible that enough time has passed for us to be here already, yet somehow here we are.

One of my favorite things about this job is getting a front-row seat to life's milestones. I've watched families grow, kids become teenagers, and before you know it, those same kids are preparing to take on the world.

Izzy was an absolute joy to photograph. She brought such a sweet, easygoing energy to her session, and those sunflowers couldn't have been a more perfect match for her. Between the golden light, her beautiful smile, and a whole lot of laughter, this session felt like pure magic.

As a mom myself, senior sessions always pull at my heartstrings a little. They mark the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. They're exciting, emotional, and a reminder of just how quickly time flies.

To Izzy and her family, thank you for trusting me with these memories. It was such an honor to capture this special season and to see life come full circle in the sweetest way.
